 Vail
is located in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, just
100 miles west of Denver and just 35 miles east of Eagle.
I-70 is a scenic and direct route into Vail from just about
anywhere! You can now check out I-70 road and weather conditions
prior to starting the drive on I-70. I-70 Live (Channel 19)
in the Vail Valley, now carries real
time camera images from Vail Pass to Idaho Springs.
The 24/7 information feed also displays real time satellite
and weather radar info, as well as CDOT road conditions and
accident alerts. I-70 Live is available for viewing in the
Visitors Information Centers located at the Lionshead and
Village Parking Structures. You can also check out Channel
19 on TV sets at various restaurants and apres ski locations
in Town.
Town
of Vail Buses run regularly between the eastern
end of Vail Village and the western end of LionsHead. Scheduled
buses to East Vail and West Vail run frequently as well. For

ECO
Transit operates a bus service between Vail, Beaver
Creek and Avon. Buses leave from the Vail Transportation Center
every half-hour and run 6am. to 2am. Cost is $2 - $3 each
way.
From
Denver International Airport
Take PENA BLVD. out of the airport towards Denver and I-70
West.
Travel on I-70 W. approximately 100 miles. .
Take the exit, exit number 176 at Vail.
Go under the I-70 overpass and around the first roundabout
until you are on Frontage Road (you'll be heading East again)
Turn into Vail's parking structure on the right side of the
road and park

across from the West end of the parking structure. Our street

From Eagle County Regional Airport
Exit the Airport via Cooley Mesa Rd. East.
Turn RIGHT onto US Hwy 6 East, which then becomes US-6/GRAND
AVE.
Turn LEFT onto EBY CREEK RD.
Turn RIGHT onto the I-70 E ramp towards DENVER (East)
Travel East on I-70, approximately 30 miles.
Take exit number 176 and go around the roundabout directly
in front of the exit ramp so that you are on S. Frontage Road
(you will be going East)
Turn into Vail's parking structure on the right side of
the road and park
